   Although the excitation current of the micro magnetic powder clutch is small, it can output a large torque, so that it can easily form an automatic control system.

    In addition, when the excitation current changes, the corresponding magnetic field strength also responds synchronously, and therefore has a superior response speed. When the excitation current remains unchanged, the output torque is not affected by the differential speed (slip speed) between the transmission part and the driven part, that is, there is no difference between static torque and dynamic torque.

    Therefore, the Boles-type miniature magnetic powder clutch can output constant torque very stably. If this feature is applied to tension control, the purpose of controlling the coil tension can be achieved simply, effectively and accurately only by adjusting the magnitude of the excitation current.
